25th Anniversary Toast – Flowers – For 25th Wedding Anniversary Party

What should I do for 10th Wedding Anniversary during Thanksgiving Holiday?

Our 10th Wedding Anniversary is Nov.28. It’s smack in the middle of family visiting and staying at the house. Most anniversaries we’ve just been exchanging cards or going out to dinner. I get her flowers every 2 weeks anyway; so that’s old hat.

The 10th Anniversary is supposed to be more special than the previous nine, right? So then, does anybody have any good suggestions for a good gift or outing? Keep in mind that family will be over, and also that I live on a middle class income and have just changed jobs.

    unique wedding anniversary ideas?

My husband and I are getting close to our first anniversary, and we’re in a bit of a pickle. We both realize it’s a big thing, but neither one of us really cares about or likes any of the “traditional” anniversary stuff. We’ve pretty much established that if he got me flowers, I’d burn them (I’m a tomboy and a pyro). My father in law uses chocolate to bribe me on a next to daily basis, so while I would enjoy a box of chocolates, there wouldn’t be anything really special about it. Cards, love letters, chick flick movies, and love songs are too mushy for either of us. We both despise having our pictures taken.Neither of us is too fond of being around other people, so a party of some sort would just be stressful. Since we never really dated beforehand, going somewhere like a really nice restaurant now would just be…weird. And we both have serious issues with “formal” anything (I got married in my pajamas, for example).

Any ideas of what we can do/get that aren’t too mushy, public, or stiff?

    9th yr Wedding Anniversary?

Our anniversary is in three days. My husband tells me on payday. I have fifty dollars you can buy food or I was gonna get you flowers. I took the money bought groceries and pawned my wedding ring for the cab ride home. I’m having trouble holding back the tears today. I feel that from this day forward I will never be faithful to this man again.
perhaps, I need to make more emphasis on the fact he gets paid weekly and asked ME to get him a
diamond earring. Were not financially strapped.

My daughter ordered a wedding cake for 125 guests. At the time 10 guests responded?

so I asked her husband if I could help by inviting people she knows he said yes. I spent on invitations and sent them out. She wants me to do flowers, favors, music and photography. Now my daughter says they have 30 response ( does not want more guests) and angry I invited other people. So far 5 guests responded from my side. What should I do? Her 10th Wedding Anniversary celebration is on 02/13/2010 Buffet style.

    Celebrating wedding anniversary?

Although, we have had many good events and days (pre or post wedding) to remember, I feel that I have been mistreated, insulted and hated on many occasions repeatedly over the past 2 years. The last year was really tough and we are on the verge of separation. We will be completing 4 years of our marriage in March. I am not sure if there is anything to celebrate on the anniversary. Should I still go ahead and plan something? FYI – We did go out for a valentine dinner but there were no flowers or “I love you” etc. Just a plain formality.

my parents r renewing there vows and i need 2 know how 2 set up the theme and what kind of flowers 2 get 4 it?

i’ve rented the hall and we have the bride maid dress and the party dressed we will go this weekwnd and get the men tuxes, i am not sure how 2 do the flowers or what theme to use. it is their 50th wedding anniversary, they never did the wedding thing they just got married with the justic of the peace and my mon wants 2 so the whole wedding thing. i would like 2 do the flowers and deckoraction myself. someone please help me!
