Boyfriend Anniversary Flowers

Our anniversary is on february 27th, and up till now i’ve been focusing on his valentines gift haha. So i haven’t given any thought to an anniversary present until today… and i have no idea.. he’s a boy, so naturally he’s hard to shop for. We’re both 18, and he’s your typical boy- likes food and video games and boy-ish things but never knows what he wants for special occasions. I love him like no other, and even though i know him better than anyone, i don’t know what to give him. I want to give him something personal but still fun or cute. any ideas?

In the past i have given him these things. (Please don’t tell me they’re stupid and i shouldn’t have given him these, because even if he didn’t love them, he loves me, and the just fact that i gave them to him he loves):

a cactus (because flowers just die)
i made him a pillow (he has a lot of trouble sleeping, so he doesn’t get much sleep)
i painted him a picture (I will be majoring in art next year)
I’ve made him CDs
A bow and arrow that shoots marshmallows

any ideas?

My 5th anniversary with my boyfriend was yesterday and he didn’t do anything special. I am not a high maintenance person, but 5 years is a big anniversary, especially with my patience of no engagement.

The weeks/days before our anniversary, I kept mentioning that I wanted to do something special and make reservations for dinner. My boyfriend kept being very nonchalant and saying “It’s taken care of”, as though he had something planned. He had NOTHING planned. Yesterday afternoon, I asked what we were doing for dinner and he said, “Whatever you want. It’s Tuesday so we dont need reservations”. We did end up going out to dinner but it’s the lack of thought that bugs me.

He didn’t buy me anything, not even flowers. Again, its not the money, its the thought. He absolutely put no thought in to this. We are young adults, 27 and 29, but we are old enough to understand the meaning of our relationship, and he is making me feel like the past 5 years have had no importance to him.

I want him to know that I’m offended, but he seems to get defensive with things like that. How do I approach this? I was thinking about buying flowers and putting them on our kitchen table to give him a hint.

my boyfriend and i are celebrating our 1 year anniversary next month, i already know what i’m getting him. i’m getting him a collector dodger jersey(jackie robinsion of the dodgers) but I would like to send him something to work. What kind of flowers do guys like? i saw on a website like a beer mug full of flowers but idk. if not flowers what else can i have sent to him? nothing too big but something that will make him smile
you dont think flowers are cheesy for a guy to receive them at work?

What should I get my boyfriend for our 1-month anniversary? All the things I can think of are just stuff a girl would like such as chocolates, flowers, stuffed animals etc. But for a guy?! I can’t think of any! Any ideas???? Btw I’m only a 16 yr old that can’t drive yet and I’m kinda low on money so it has to be something affordable. =[

Me and my boyfriend just celebrated our 1 year anniversary. And on that day i thought he would atleast give me a card and some flowers but he didnt. He went and brought himself an outfit and some new shoes.. Am i wrong for feeling like he’s selfish.

yeea he’s like planning to get me flowers and stuff like that…

and i feel really bad cause i’ve never given him anything and he’s given me stuff.

so like yea.
what can i get?
i dont want to like go to the movies and dinner and stuff..

cause thats like just normal.
i want to get him like a material thing.

i got him an expensive watch and on the day of our anniversary i am going to show up at his work and give him a candy bouquet ( instead of flowers, it is chocolate shaped flowers)
